Great things in aviation are rarely accomplished solo—they take a dedicated ground crew.
As we expand our digital footprint and build an active network to unite "at-large" and rural pilots across Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, and the Dakotas, we are looking for passionate volunteers to help us steer the controls.
Why Volunteer with the Wyoming 99s? You will be working alongside an incredible, supportive team of female aviators, educators, and retired scientists who bring decades of real-world leadership and operational expertise to the table. We are a small but highly collaborative crew that values mentorship, continuous safety education, and the deep bond of our shared passion for flight.
We have flexible, low-hour volunteer roles available across multiple areas, including:
Digital & Technical Support: Helping manage our new Google Workspace tools, email list distribution, or website updates.
Event & Virtual Hangar Coordination: Coordinating guest speakers, safety topics, or cross-border fly-in logistics.
Outreach & Recruitment: Connecting with flight schools and at-large members to share our scholarship opportunities and build community.
Whether you can spare two hours a month or want to take on a key committee role as our virtual meetings resume this September, your time directly empowers the next generation of women pilots.
Ready to join the crew?
